We have exciting news: our assortment at Zeeuwsche Zoute has expanded to include a spicy new flavor: Zeeuwsche Zoute Chili. After the success of our special flavors such as Samphire, Wakame, Smoked and Black Garlic, we have something new for you. So read on quickly!

About the taste of Zeeland Salt Chili

Zeeuwsche Salt Chili combines our traditionally extracted sea salt from the Oosterschelde estuary with the spicy taste of chili. With 20% chili and 10% smoked salt, this is the perfect mix to give your food that little extra something. From stir-fries and curries to roasted broccoli and sweet potato wedges, our new salt makes every dish special.

Inspiration for the kitchen

For more adventurous salt connoisseurs, there are other surprising flavor combinations. For example, try the following:


  • Grilled pineapple
    With spicy sauce.
  • Enhance a Bloody Mary with a rim of this spicy salt for an extra kick.
  • Add a pinch to chocolate cake batter for a subtly spicy twist.
  • Create a quick vegan dip by mixing this salt with red peppers, garlic, toasted walnuts, cumin seeds and olive oil. Blend for a moment and done!

We are proud that we sustainably extract our salt from the waters of the Eastern Scheldt. In doing so, we honor a centuries-old Zeeland tradition and provide a unique homegrown product.
