Summer is almost here! So time again for a recipe you can make both on the barbecue and in your kitchen at home, and this time with our newest flavor! You can make this grilled pineapple extra exciting by making a spicy sauce with it with Zeeland Salt Chili. Because we serve the sauce separately, everyone can choose how spicy they want this dessert.

First, make the sauce. You do this by melting the butter. Add the caster sugar and freshly squeezed orange juice. Keep stirring well and continue until all the sugar is dissolved. Then add Sea Salt Chili, Sea Salt Black Pepper and lemon juice. Let this reduce until and thicken, but do not let it burn.
Peel and slice the pineapple. You heat the slices on a barbecue or in a grill pan, giving you those cheerful stripes. When the pineapple is well warmed through and soft serve the slices. In a separate container serve the sauce (it should still be warm) so everyone can choose how much spiciness they want that day.
Eat it like this or add another scoop of vanilla ice cream and the party is complete. Enjoy your meal!
