Zeeuwsche Salt Salt Mill Wakame

6,95

Zeeland Salt Wakame is packaged in a fully recyclable salt mill made from glass and biodegradable plastic produced with corn. This contains Zeeland Salt with wakame seaweed. This seaweed comes from the Eastern Scheldt and is extracted by The Zeeland Seaweed Trade. This salt variant is a typical Zeeland combination with the taste of the Eastern Scheldt. Zeeland Salt Wakame gives an unexpected flavor boost, for example, to a fried sirloin steak. The wakame salt gives it a nutty flavor.

A UNIQUE LOCATION FOR UNIQUE SALT

WHERE ZEEUWSCHE ZOUTE FINDS ITS ORIGIN

On the shores of the Oosterschelde, we pump seawater at the fishing village of Bruinisse on the island of Schouwen-Duiveland during incoming tides. The Oosterschelde National Park is the largest national park in the Netherlands. Purified by sandbanks, oyster, and mussel beds, this is one of the best places to obtain clear and clean water from the Oosterschelde. Did you know that on average, an oyster purifies 5 liters of water per hour? Mussels go even further and purify an impressive 10 liters of water per hour.
