Since 2018, owner Martin Zwart has been the face of a restaurant here where you don’t just come for a quick meal, but where you are served a culinary experience. You can really taste his love for Italy. Whether you sit inside, on the sunny terrace in the patio, or join him on one of his trips to Piedmont… it’s always about pure, good and lots of food.
Italian finesse, local love
In the kitchen are chef Mathijn and sous chef Ferdinand, a duo that cooks Italian with dedication and attention to provenance. They work with products they believe in, both from Italy and from the region (or just beyond). This is also how they ended up with Zeeuwsche Zoute. Our salt is used in a variety of dishes. Think fresh pastas, full sauces and specials from the menu. The food was already delectable, but now we dare call it top-notch.
